Bachelor of Ministry Degrees will be dual degrees in Creative Arts and Leadership.
TRANSFER OF CREDIT
inCharacter will consider requests to transfer credits on an individual basis. As our programs is highly unique, the acceptance of incoming credits may be very limited. Students should contact the Admissions Department to discuss transfer credits. The transfer of credits from inCharacter to other institutions cannot be guaranteed or determined. Such matters are taken on a case-by-case basis and depend upon the individual institution. If the student is entering iC with the intent of transferring to another institution upon graduation, please be sure to contact that institution PRIOR to enrolling at inCharacter School of Ministry. inCharacter is an extension campus of Summit Bible College. Located in Bakersfield, CA, Summit Bible College is a member of the Apostolic Council on Educational Accountability. SBC is an IRS 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization which issues degrees in Theology.
Summit Bible College is also pursuing federal accreditation. They are affiliated with the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). The ABHE is recognized by the Department of Education as a National Accreditation Agency.
SBC has had their degrees approved by several denominations and churches and has never had them denied by any Christian ministry. Check on your specific ministry's needs for accreditation. Some secular institutions and universities have accepted the earned degrees for SBC alumni as professors and for several secular positions. Check with your prospective employer or college.
